MY STORY
Hello! My name is Madison Harlow, and I am located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I have been a Counselor since 2020, helping my clients and students achieve their personal and professional goals. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify the core challenges and setbacks in your life, so that you can overcome them with confidence. I specialize in creating personalized counseling plans and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your desired goals.
EDUCATION
Knowledge is Power
I am a firm believer in helping to support those in their educational aspirations, as I have done myself. I went to Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania where I earned a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Special Education. I also received my MA in Counseling Education from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. I have continued my educational journey through seeking out training's and certifications, reading books,and other educational opportunities that will help me to better meet the needs of my clients.
EXPERIENCE
As a previous educator and school counselor, I have experience working with children ages 2 and up in various settings. My work also extends to working with families and parents to help guide them as supportive partners in their child's growth. I have been seeing child, adolescent, and adult clients through private practice in Colorado since 2021. When I relocated to Wyoming in 2022, I began working as an Outpatient Therapist and still continue to do so. Through this work I have decided to expand my private practice to Cheyenne so I can see more clients and better meet the needs of our community.
